Keith Green (1953-1982), a radical disciple.
Here is one of those special gifts from Father’s right hand to the American Church in the 60’s and 70’s. He loved the Church but loved the Jesus he followed even more and was attempting to wake the Church from it’s sleep and return to authentic discipleship.

I was meditating on this Scripture today and I found myself led by the Spirit to ask the question, “who is the it that says this to us?”
After going back and reading (see the link) the larger context, my answer is that it is the Light Himself, present in the Gospel, that is always saying this to us. What is the answer that you come up with?

Thanks Liz. When I put it up for the synchroblog I should have redone it and added some explanation. I felt it so fit w/ your choice for April that I hoped someone would see what I saw- most of the American churches are still asleep in the light. I have found real encouragement among bloggers like you who are using social media to testify to your faith. May God bless as we celebrate the reality of Easter this week.
